Google My Business SEO Explained

SEO - I remember that I was told I can get you number 1, But the keyword phrase was so obscure no one would ever use it! Getting keywords that your users will use and using them in some areas of your listing is today's lesson.

Wouldn't it be great if you could find all the keywords Google rated in the top 20 GMB in your category. Many of you will know that Google gives you a free one page website. Here you can also add some great keywords. Some basic keywords that show on your free website is onyl going to be a positve signal. Adding the correct optimization in your description is important as this is agreat way to add authority.

Description Texts in GMB show on the free website: This gives you more than title and categories. Like an about us, but make it slightly different if you can. Use the description as a really useful and important way to communicate, a bit like the elevator text or pitch, a nice concise sentence that sets you apart.

Services text Build up your services, as long as you can fulfil it, add it. You need to structure this and add content, as it will enrich your SEO and give Google My Business even more ways to boost you. More info means more opportunities on the next GMB update, as its data in there database.
