Keywords for GMB are normally poorly added and cause one of the biggest areas of confusion for uneducated web masters. Many business owners have no idea how to locate the correct keywords for the listing and even worse, think spamming Google will work based on what a mate told them.
But Google isn’t saying avoid them at all costs. If you notice in the video and if you do a search, many useful keywords are now highlighted and stand out in bold. Yes, Google sees that as helpful to a potential client, so try thinking it through a clients points of view and you will be in the right frame of mind to address the balance Google supports.

This was alluded to in one of my previous videos but was hard to show as the Covid-19 situation led to Google not allowing the feature on a live basis. Now its back so i can really show you how this works in the video above.
Below are the factors Google considers important
Simply put, think of what questions your customers keep asking and then write informative answers. Keep in mind the importance of Towns, cities and area names. In my case, if someone searches for a Bournemouth Web Designer, they also may put a Christchurch Web designer which is a town just 2 miles away. Both towns are relevant, both can be optimised using the Q and A section.
The fact Google allows you to answer and ask is a very interesting twist. So think about the factors Google loves and you can optimise the answer to cover just that.
